Ever wonder where the heck your time goes on the daily? It's an age-old question we were dying to have answered and as it turns out, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics is just as curious. From 2011 to 2015, they figured out what activities full-time college students spend their time on and even calculated how much time they spent on each activity on average.

No shock to see that sleep comes out on top, but you may be surprised to see where the rest of your time goes...

The first step to making better use of your time is to first analyze where it's going. The second is to transform wasted or empty time into time spent on activities of value. For example, you can get an extra 1.4 hours of study time during your commute by listening to your notes and other study materials.
