Halloween is just around the corner, but 2020 didn't wait 'til October to give us the spooks. We're living in a real-life horror movie, people! According to the World Health Organization, to date, the coronavirus has infected more than 40 million people and killed over 1.1 million people worldwide. Sounds unreal, right?

A plane ride to nowhere

People are missing travel, and they're desperate to ease their travel bug. The price tag is a bit shocking, but for around $2 G's a ticket, passengers can board a fake flight to feel the nostalgia of going on vacation. Though these flights go nowhere, they provide some form of entertainment, sometimes featuring a celebrity guest. Tickets sold out long ago, but road trips are always on the table. Everyone's spending less time everywhere, except for their living rooms. It's no surprise that houseplants have made a major comeback- they're pleasant to look at, will listen without judgment, shower you with fresh air, and won't give you COVID. This takes the cake for the scariest thing that happened in 2020. Not because we're terrified of running out of toilet paper (we are!), but because toilet paper is of the highest priority to Americans. It's not safety, food, shelter - it's toilet paper. We love toilet paper just as much as anybody else, and even though we joke, this is a life lesson forever stamped in our memory. But we aren't out of the woods yet!
